Child and Adult Care Food Program
CACFP
Here at the East End United Community Center, we're grateful to be a part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a wonderful federal assistance program supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). CACFP offers daily, subsidized food service for an estimated 3.3 million children and 120,000 elderly or mentally or physically impaired adults in non-residential, daycare settings across the US.
We're passionate about ensuring the well-being of our community's youth! We understand that when the final school bell rings and parents are still hard at work, children yearn for a safe haven, a place where they can be with their friends, engage in structured activities, and receive the care they deserve, all while enjoying a nutritious dinner and evening snack. Our afterschool program is the bridge that connects this vision to reality with the help of CACFP.
Join us in our mission to create a brighter tomorrow for our community's youth. Together, we can provide more than just meals; we can provide hope, opportunity, and the support they need to thrive. Your support ensures that our children have a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and become the leaders of tomorrow.
